Three of Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin's fantasy short stories will be coming to the big screen as a single movie titled In the Lost Lands. Milla Jovovich is in talks to star in the female-centric fantasy adventure, which will be directed by the Germany-born Constantin Werner.

According to the official description, here are the summaries of the three stories the movie will pull from:

• In one thread, the desperate queen of a city built into a towering mountain hires the sorceress Gray Alys (Jovovich) to travel into the ghostly wasteland called the Lost Lands, to obtain the gift of shape shifting into a werewolf, but she doesn't realize that the fulfillment of her wish will come at a terrible price.

• Meanwhile, warrior girl Sharra must fight a dragon that serves as the gatekeeper of seven worlds to reunite with her lost lover Kaydar. During this quest she meets the mysterious lord of a deserted castle, Laren Dorr, who seduces her so completely that she forgets her quest and stays with him, unaware that he is the real gatekeeper.

• And in the futuristic tale "Bitterblooms," a young barbarian girl gets spellbound by a lonely witch in a spacecraft, who shows her beauty and love, which turns out to be a net of lies and deceit.

Milla Jovovich as a sorceress for hire? Yes please. However, I have no idea how they plan to tie these three disparate plots into one coherent story. It can't be an anthology movie, can it? It doesn't seem likely, but given Game of Thrones' insane popularity, if there's an author's works you could get away with doing that nowadays, it's GRRM.

Anyways, Shameless' Justin Chatwin has apparently already signed to star in the film, but since I'm still not over Dragonball Evolution, I refuse to report this news without mentioning he was in Dragonball Evolution and that it was terrible. So... yeah, there we go.
