Garbage re-purposed as modern art is not that uncommon these days, but Hector Serrano takes it to a whole new level with this giant installation he did for the Valencia City Council in honor of World Environment Day.
By covering majestic white columns of an old-school gazebo with hundreds of black rubber tires collectively shaped like a giant looming cloud, he’s hoping to remind us of how much waste we generate unnecessarily.
