Sony Ericsson made a big splash with the launch of the Premini, even using Daft Punk to push the sleekness and futurist characteristics that made it a hit—well, that and the fact that it s so tiny. They followed up with the Premini-S, which just remixed the colors a bit, and lacked any real improvements over the initial model. At first, the new Premini-II would seem to be an attractive upgrade: it now takes pics, and features a color screen. But with this you get a new larger form factor that makes it look like most of the non-clam shell phones we ve seen before. It s hard to see this one making any sort of impact here.
