Gawker Media is looking for a Lead Front end Web Developer with
considerable skills writing cross-browser compatible, lean, and
semantic XHTML.
You: Thrive in a demanding environment; demonstrable skills troubleshooting; and excel at working with a variety of project teams consisting of on-site and remote designers and developers. Ability to lead a team of Web designers, and design projects, is a huge plus. This is a full time position in our New York office.
Skills Required:
* Semantic XHTML
* Advanced CSS skills (with emphasis on cross-browser compatibility)
* Strong Javascript, specifically AJAX, skills
* Photoshop skills a plus
* Actionscript a plus
