Gloomy tank graveyards hold the rusting bones of war

From Afghanistan to Eritrea and Kuwait to Laos, many regions play host to these mechanical reminders of war: huge cemeteries filled with decaying tanks, witnessing the slow destruction of machines that have outlived their own destructive purposes.
