Google’s Compose Should Allow More Apps to Adjust Based on Your Screen Size

Apps that work across Google’s various digital platforms could become far better at adjusting to your screen size. Google showed how the new Compose adaptive layout libraries might make it easier for devs to create apps that hide some of their UI and font sizes or expand other aspects based on whether they’re on a Chromebook, phone, tablet, or foldable device. These “adaptive apps,” as Google calls them, could also offer more support for stylus or mouse and keyboard if they follow Google’s advice.
