A rugged 360 action camera with 8K video and replaceable lenses
The MAX2 is for adventure seekers, travelers, and creatives who want 360-degree video without worrying about capturing every shot. Features include 29MP photo capture, 8K 360 video at 30fps, single-lens 4K video up to 60fps, Max HyperSmooth stabilization and Horizon Lock, 360 audio via six microphones, integrated GPS, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, voice commands, replaceable glass lenses, and a 1960mAh Enduro battery. All these features are housed in a durable, rugged, fully waterproof casing.
The MAX2 captures 360-degree video, providing clear, detailed footage of your surroundings from every direction. Because the camera captures your entire surroundings, you can direct it toward anything after filming. Then you can export the footage into a standard video format that matches your preferred aspect ratio. The MAX2 can also shoot 5.6K at 60fps and 4 K up to 100fps for slow motion. Plus, the MAX2 can record in 10-bit color, which produces smoother color transitions.
In addition to 8K 360-degree video, the MAX2 can capture high-resolution 29MP photos. Afterward, you can crop, zoom in, and reframe the images as needed. The MAX2 also offers single-lens mode for 4K 60fps video and 12MP still photos. Another feature of the MAX2 is the “invisible selfie stick” effect, where the extension pole doesn’t appear in the image, which is beneficial for capturing third-person views of yourself while riding or hiking.
You can adjust both Max HyperSmooth stabilization and Horizon Lock after filming. The six-microphone array captures 360-degree audio. Integrated GPS lets you overlay speed and location onto your footage. The MAX2’s glass lenses can be easily removed and replaced by twisting them off by hand, and they’re made of tough optical glass. It works fully underwater to 16 feet without needing a separate housing. The MAX2 also uses an Enduro battery, which performs well in cold temperatures and delivers long-lasting power for cold-weather activities like snowy mountain runs, chilly morning hikes, or winter road trips.
The GoPro MAX2 Waterproof 360 Action Camera offers a robust feature set, including true 8K 360-degree video capture, excellent stabilization options, and removable lenses. This product is ideal for documenting biking, skiing, and other adventure-related activities in 360 degrees.
