Group files suit against computer makes for misrepresenting hard drive sizes

We were sorta wondering when somebody was going to take up this cause: a group of people in Los Angeles have filed a lawsuit against Apple,. Dell, Gateway, HP, IBM, Sharp, Sony, and Toshiba, alleging that computer companies are misrepresenting the true capacity of the hard drives in the computers they sell, like that a 20GB hard drive really only has 18.6GB of useable space. The problem mainly has to do some confusion over whether a 1000 megabytes or 1024 megabytes constitute a gigabyte.
