MTV sat down with Pacific Rim director Guillermo del Toro to reveal the secrets of the new Pacific Rim trailer. Some things ranged from the interesting (the Kaiju have toxic blood) to the odd (it takes two pilots to drive each Jaeger, with each controlling one side) to the adorable (this is del Toro’s attempt to make his inner 12-year-old child’s best movie ever). He doesn’t explain why Portal’s GlaDOS is the voice of the Jaegers’ operating systems, but I guess he wants to save a little something for the movie. Watch the vid below.
