Sure, Emma Stone’s Gwen Stacy is looking good in this comics-accurate outfit, seen worn by the actress on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 set. Unfortunately, these specific clothes hint that Gwen’s about to have a very bad day.
I guess this is a spoiler for the upcoming movie, but it’s also a spoiler for a 40-year-old comic, so on the off chance you don’t know what I’m talking about, you might want to stop reading.
Yeah, this is pretty much exactly the outfit she wore in Spider-Man #122, a.k.a.”The Night Gwen Stacy Died.” Not that there was much of a doubt movie Gwen was going to meet a similar fate, but I think these specific clothes mean ol’ Gwen is about to redefine the phrase “fashion victim.”
