Incredibly extensive and in-depth side-by-side comparison over at DAPreview.com of two of the newer hard drive MP3 players to hit stores, the 10GB iHP-100 from iRiver and the 15GB HDD100 from Philips. They end up giving the edge to the iHP-100, scathingly condemning the Philips player as coming “with so many critical annoyances, that it’s impossible to ignore all of them – especially when taking in account that there are and will be many competitors in this line of business. The HDD100 doesn’t even hold off a first revision iPod, I’m afraid.” Ouch.
