According to Entertainment Weekly, Henry Cavill (Man of Steel, Witcher) has been injured during pre-production of the new Highlander film, delaying the start of filming. Deadline reported that production is likely to resume in 2026, with the extent of Cavill’s injuries unknown.

Deadline reports that Michelle Garza Cervera will direct a film adaptation of Mónica Ojeda’s horror novel, Jawbone, from producers Nick Antosca, Gael García Bernal, Diego Luna, and Kyzza Terrazas.
The story concerns Fernanda and Annelise, “who are so close they are practically sisters: a double image, inseparable. So how does Fernanda end up bound on the floor of a deserted cabin, held hostage by one of her teachers and estranged from Annelise?”
