If there’s one important thing to pull from this nearly 20 minute video of a leaked WebOS 3.0 beta (PalmPad variant), it’s that HP hasn’t completely mutilated WebOS (…yet).
Obviously the demo is laggy, probably because it’s in beta and running in an emulator. But in terms of design, it seems like they’ve pulled some good design ideas from other apps and platform (email, messaging and notifications look as good as ever). All in all, it doesn’t look too shabby. Hopefully that means people will want to make apps for the thing. More specifically, apps people actually want to use. [PreCentral]
