Pixar’s latest film, Finding Dory, opens this weekend and it comes with incredibly high expectations. It also comes with a brand new short film called Piper, directed by Alan Barillaro. A short clip from it is now online and it’s well worth checking out.
Piper is so titled because it’s about a young sandpiper bird who is learning to take care of himself. The animation is unfathomably gorgeous, especially the water, and the film will put you in the perfect, heartwarming mood just before Dory starts. Here’s the clip.
