We’ve had a teaser trailer and a motion poster, and both of them were surprisingly light on the dragon. Now, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, we’ve finally got a closer look at the new version of Pete’s dragon. As promised, he is furry.
The fur does make him pretty sympathetic, but it does make it slightly harder to see him as a dragon. More like Sully from Monsters Inc.’s cousin. I’m not sure I like this furry dragon. Well, I have until August 12 to get used to it.
