Mike Lanberg of San Jose Mercury News notices that there a few laptops that have come out pretty damn good screens lately, like Sony’s TR1A, which uses Sony’s XBrite technology; Toshiba’s Satellite 5205-S705, which uses something called Clear Advanced Super View; and Fujitsu’s Lifebook N 3000 series, which has Multi-Domain Vertical Alignment. Because of how nice they all look, Mike has taken to using the term “high-definition” to describe all these new screens. It might be a little confusing, but it gets the point across — these laptops look way better than average.
