A slew of high-res images from the fantasy spoof Your Highness have just come out, and they show us more of the crazy medieval hijinks to expect from James Franco, Natalie Portman and Danny McBride. Including a Clash-tastic mechanical bird!
Several of the photos seem to take place in a Thunderdome-style death arena, with tons of people’s faces and hands poking through the mesh walls, and no escape other than to kill or die. In some of them, it looks like McBride and Franco are watching Natalie Portman as she prepares to do something awesome with a spear. Plus, there’s some seriously cheesetastic medieval costumes, and check out Justin Theroux’s crazy hair and awesome sceptre as “Leezar,” the wizard who kidnaps Princess Belladonna (Zooey Deschanel).
Will this be the sword-and-sorcery spoof we deserve? We’ll find out in a couple weeks. Your Highness comes out April 8.
