Those guys I wrote about earlier that had LCD screens perched over their heads and were handing out stickers got a much less enviable job later in the evening – handing out free swag to fanboys in line. Sure, the mayhem and violence was a lot tamer than stuff that happened inPS3 lines, but the scene got kind of ugly when the hats appeared.Instant swarms formed around the poor guys, with people hiding the hats they had gotten to try to score more hats or shirts or whatever other sort of worthless stuff they were handing out. Geez guys, just cause it says Wii on it doesn’t make it worth freaking out over. Save your energy for swiping your credit cards at midnight, will ya?
