Bears are smart. Like, a lot smarter than most people give them credit for. But that doesn’t mean they don’t still make mistakes — say, winding up trapped inside a massive trash can, for instance. Fear not, wee ursine triplets! Here come some daring humans to the rescue!

I’ve watched this a number of times now, and there are a couple things still really blow me away. One: Who the hell approaches bear cubs when the mother is clearly RIGHT THERE? Sure, that helpful human is in the bed of a truck, but something tells me that wouldn’t make a whole lot of difference if mom was in a defensive sort of mood (as new moms are wont to be). Two: those are some damn crafty little bear cubs… nimble buggers, too. You think a human child could ladder its way out of a dumpster like that? Yeah, right.
