Christopher Coulter scores again with some specs on the TC1100, HP’s new slate-style Tablet PC, which improves on HP’s earlier effort, the TC1000, but not quite as much as one would hope. Anyway, the TC1100 will come in two versions, one with a 1.0GHz Centrino processor and 512MB of RAM, the other an 800MHz Celeron processor and 256MB of RAM. Both will have 10.4-inch displays, an attachable keyboard, an SD memory card slot, up to a 60GB hard drive, and a choice of either 802.11b or a combination 802.11a/b/g card. There’s also a Bluetooth option as well. Word on the street is that this will be announced on October 13th, and stores November 8th.
