Tech mogul and legit crazy person John McAfee is the subject of an upcoming six-part documentary by Spike TV, and I cannot wait.
The series will be filmed this summer, and centers on interviews with the disgraced drug connoisseurand former anti-virus tech magnate, who was once the subject of a manhunt on suspicion of murdering his neighbor in the Belize jungle. It will air sometime next year on the cable network, and the AP reports that the format will be similar to HBO’s popular true crime miniseries The Jinx.
McAfee sold the movie rights to his life while he was detained in a Guatemala prison, and I don’t know what happened to that, but this sounds even better: An in-depth portrait of the real deal OG deranged antivirus pioneer.
