I don’t care what dynamic braking is. I just want to watch this video again and again. And then jump on a swimming pool full of that gelatinous stuff, whatever it is.

OK, I do care what dynamic braking is—capturing the energy released while braking a locomotive and turning it into electricity for later consumption—but watching objects falling onto gelatin in slow motion can fix my short attention span for more than two minutes. This video made for General Electric by The Barbarian Group explains how it works. [General Electric via Data Visualization]
