If These Shuttle Slippers Aren’t NASA Standard-Issue, They Should Be

There are very strict weight limitations on what astronauts can bring with them when they blast off into space. But in addition to a few creature comforts, we sincerely hope that NASA, and other space agencies around the world, will be equipping their brave space farers with these adorable plush Space Shuttle slippers.

After all, space is a cold harsh environment, and your feet are going to get cold even when you’re floating around in zero gravity. At just $20 they’re affordable for even NASA despite its recent budget restrictions, and since they’re one-size-fits-all astronauts on the ISS can easily share them with each other as they come on and off their shifts.
