Assuming we don't destroy ourselves in a mountain of toxic garbage, humans are going to start building more sustainable, environmentally-friendly cities. And that means a lot more animals will be sharing our cities with us. Here's a glimpse of what that might mean.

In the New Jersey suburb of Rockaway, two bears decided to fight right in the middle of the street. This is a stabilized version of the video that J. Domzalski shot while sitting in a car at the side of the road, watching the bears tumble down somebody's front lawn and practically break a mailbox in the middle of their wrestling match. I particularly love the moment toward the end when the bears just start sitting on top of each other.

It's hard to say whether this is a real fight or a play fight, but (at least in this video) nobody got hurt.

Cities of the future will remain sustainable partly by encouraging "re-wilding," or the maintenance of natural spaces both in and outside the city. Ideally, this would mean animals could migrate safely through cities. Humans will co-exist with other animals. But that will mean that occasionally bears will decide to wrestle in your front yard. Think of it as the badass side of green living.
