Remember that scene in the Avengers? Of course you do — that long, panning shot that showcases all six Avengers, working together to kick Chitauri butt all around midtown Manhattan, which was the greatest non-shawarma-related scene in the entire film? Well, ILM just released the above mini-doc about how they made the incredibly elaborate shot, which included four different green-screen sets, 1200 shots of New York City, and about a bajillion CG artists. If you like seeing how all the different pieces get put together for a massive cinematic feat like this, or are just an Avengers fan, you should enjoy the heck out of this. If nothing else it should help wash the taste of this cinematic atrocity out of your brain.
