Tons of movies do well in their first weekend, but a lot fewer keep it up for a second weekend. Add Inception to that exclusive club: It's the number one movie in America two weekends running.
Inception's scored a total U.S. box office of $143.6 million. (Or $228 million worldwide.) Contrast that with Predators, whose second weekend was pretty bad and is now number ten in the top-ten movies.
Also doing well: Angelina Jolie's Salt, which made $36.5 million with an audience that skewed slightly more female than male. [EW]
