Intergalactic Couture Rocks Planet Earth

In an effort to help you prep for that all important trip to outer space, Rocketplane Kistler (which plans to offer interplanetary space tours starting in 2008) held its first ever space wear fashion show. The show, which featured a bunch of alien-looking models like the one pictured here, was organized by Japanese designer Eri Matsui. Only 11 pieces of clothing were shown, each with its own "feature" designed for zero gravity. We like the idea of having clothes with air-jet propulsion systems built in (to help you change direction while floating), but what's with the girl in the blue jump suit?
