Invincible Season 2 Part 2 Looks Completely Mad in a Brand New Trailer

Season two of Prime Video’s awesome, R-rated animated superhero show Invincible is returning March 14—and by comparison, this wait has been a cakewalk. Don’t forget, we had to wait two and a half years between seasons one and two. Four months for the second half of season two? Pfft. That’s nothing. Especially when a new trailer shows that we might get the most sprawling and epic story yet.

When we last left the show in November, Mark Grayson, aka Invincible (Steven Yeun), was tasked with the impossible: take over the Earth or else. We don’t get a sense of that story in this trailer but there’s still a whole lot going on, with more superhero villains and team-ups than you can imagine. Check it out.

So as you can see there, this trailer seems to tiptoe around Mark’s Viltrumite storyline. How is Mark dealing with that? We don’t know. But we do see Mark back on Earth, dealing with other things including plenty with the Guardians of the Globe and its new members. And what’s up with the funeral? That obviously can’t be Mark, right? Maybe Nolan will come home? We’ll see.

The final four episodes of Invincible season two will debut March 14 on Prime Video. And yes, the show is returning for season three sometime in the future.
