iPad Dashboard App Rejected For “Contradicting iPad’s User Experience”

This is the Dashboard app for iPad. It brings OS X’s dashboard to the iPad. Cool, right? Well, you’re not getting it.

Apple rejected the app because it “contradicted the iPad’s user experience,” which is a weak excuse and underestimates the user considerably. You’d think that if a person went out and downloaded the Dashboard app, they’d know what they were getting into in the first place.

In any case, it’s gone, but you can download the source yourself off of GitHub and put it on your iPad manually (if you’re a developer). [GitHub via TechCrunch]
