Reuters has confirmed with an insider that Apple and Deutsche Telekom have reached an agreement to sell the iPhone in Germany. The price will (supposedly) be 399 euros ($554), which is slightly more than the $399 Apple’s selling the phone here in the US. Whether this price premium is because the phone will be a 3G version to appeal to Europe’s 3G-ness, or whether they’re charging early adopters more money first before lowering the price for the mass market is unknown.
