Take a peek at the Apple Store and you’ll see a new addition to the iPod family slipped into the lineup with no notice: now there’s an 8GB iPod nano (product) Red, which was only available in 4GB trim before today. It’s $249, and it only shows up on the selection page in the Apple Store showing the nano family.
The 8GB nano was only available in black before, and now you can get it in red, with $10 of its $249 purchase price going to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa.
