Wall-mounted iPod docks have been around for a while, but either they’re from really cheap plastic-y companies, or covered in Swarvoski crystals and cost thousands of bucks. Pioneer’s KODO XW-NAW1 slides in somewhere in between, at £199 (about $300).

As it’s made to be stuck on a wall, Pioneer’s kept it slim at 83mm thick, but there’s also a matching stand if table-mounting is more your style.

Compatible with iPhones and iPods, the 30W stereo speaker has touch sensor controls and charges docked iDevices—even outputting video thanks to the component video port. On sale in the UK from September, it’ll cost £199—international launch details expected soon. [Pioneer]
