It's The Walking Dead for kiddies!

Check out Walking Dead for children! Many moons ago, Jason Chan crafted a beautiful piece of artwork, so great it even inspired an io9 writing prompt contest.

Now that lovely piece of artwork has become a full-fledged video game project. Chan and the folks at Massive Black Productions are now creating an adorable children versus zombies video game (via Kickstarter). Here's a collection of amazing concept art along with a video of it all coming together.

For more information, check out their official website Zombie Playground. Fingers crossed this game inspires a cartoon, because we'd let our kids watch that, for zombie survival purposes alone.
