Director James Wan is about to transition from finishing one movie (The Conjuring 2) to starting another (Aquaman). That means he’s making some big decisions about the film right now and, in a new interview, he dropped a huge tease.
Talking to Cinemablend, Wan said the following about the villains Aquaman will be facing:
I gotta say, one thing I love about the Aquaman world is all the really different, really interesting characters. They are interesting characters, including the villains—I’m not going to tell you which villains I’m going to play with! (Laughs) But they’re super cool. They’re very larger than life, but they’re unique.
