Titled The Final Girls, this new ABC Family TV pilot pitch is about a badass Charlie’s Angels-style collection of all the surviving ladies from past horror movies.

The horror trope the “Final Girl” is that the last one standing after a horror movie slaughter is almost always a white, virginal, sober lady. Jamie Lee Curtis is easily one of the most famous Final Girls, so it makes sense that she will be the Giles of this operation.

Deadline is reporting that ABC Family is looking to fasttrack this production penned by Jeff Dixon and directed by Steve Miner (Halloween H20, Friday the 13th Part 1 & 2).

[The] drama revolves around a group of girls who have, in essence, survived their own personal horror stories and are brought together by a mysterious older woman (Curtis) to channel the stress and scars of their experience for some greater good.

Overall this sounds BADASS. We fully support any kind of league of extraordinary, ass-kicking ladies. We hope we get to see it.
