Vulcan Centaur’s first flight
After a decade of development, United Launch Alliance was finally able to launch its much-anticipated Vulcan Centaur rocket on January 8. Blasting off from Cape Canveral, Florida, the rocket delivered Astrobotic’s private Peregrine Moon lander to space. Combining strength with versatility, Vulcan Centaur is poised to challenge SpaceX’s dominance.
