Last month 10-year-old viral sensation Sophia Grace was tapped to play Little Red Riding Hood to Johnny Depp’s Big Bad Wolf. But it looks like Disney has decided to go with someone older — two years older, to be precise: Lilla Crawford.

A new press release from Disney swapped out Grace for Broadway’s current Little Orphan Annie. Obviously Disney has decided to do away with much of the subtext in the interchange between the characters of Red and the Wolf. Let’s just hope the rest of the humor in this musical won’t be lost. Oh well. On the brighter side — and no offense to the vocally talented Sophia — we’re glad Disney is going with a pro.
