We compared a pack of cards, matchbox, the 2nd gen iPod Shuffle and the new iPod Shuffle (in that order) to give you a better idea. You’ll notice that while the new Shuffle is taller than the old Shuffle, repositioning those controls to the headphones bought a lot of space in every other way. We’re also guessing that the new clip has been streamlined a bit to make the svelte 1.8×0.7×0.3-inch body possible. [Sizeeasy]
