Wooden speaker cones sound great, but are difficult to make because they would crack during shaping. By soaking the sheets of wood in sake before forming them into speaker cones, the wood becomes soft and easily manipulated. The home theatre system that features these speakers, JVC EX-A10, comes with a receiver and a matching DVD player, which supports DVD Video and DVD Audio discs. It’s available now for around $1000.
