Star Trek: The Middle School Musical could have used a dose of Sulu, but the slow-mo battle love song between Kirk and the Gorn is pretty great. Next step: stage different Trek musical adaptations across the country with real middle schools classes. I can’t wait to see a 12-year-old sing about the pathos of being a red shirt.
