Just when ABC Family’s super-kid series Kyle XY was really hitting its stride — and converting new legions of science fiction fans, judging from recent comments on io9 — the network has pulled the plug. Kyle XY producer Scott Schofield tells me, “We’re all very sad about it.” The good news: tonight’s episode is one of the show’s best. And the last three episodes of the season (and of the show’s run altogether) are also among Schofield’s favorites. I’ve written back to him to ask him how much resolution we get of the show’s storylines, so we’ll see what he says.
