We love Alan Moore and Kevin O’Neill’s League of Extraordinary Gentlemen comic series. However, we were less in love with the live-action movie version. But, that’s all in the past now. Fox wants to start fresh with a TV series just for the literary heroes.

THR is reporting that Michael Green (who worked on Kings and The River) is signed on as producer and writer for this potential TV show. And if all goes according to plan, Erwin Stoff (The Matrix, Kings) will join him later on as another producer.

If you’re not familiar with the comic it’s basically a Victorian Avengers staring famous literary characters such as Mina Harker, Captain Nemo, The Invisible Man, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and other famous figures over the groups several incarnation.

Fingers crossed — this has some potential as a TV show.
