If you were one of the weirdos who looked at the original Galaxy Note and thought, "Oh man, I would totally buy the shit out of that huge phone if it was more huger", you're in luck: leaked specs of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 2 show a 5.5" screen. That's .2 of an inch bigger than small fry original Galaxy Note!

Seoul Newspaper in South Korea claims that the Galaxy Note 2 will have a 5.5-inch 1280 x 720 display, 1.4GHz quadcore processor, 8 megapixel camera and your usual 3G/4G and 16GB/32GB options. Supposedly, the Galaxy Note 2 will be running Jelly Bean off the bat and not the older ICS.

Hypocrisy doesn’t make me wrong

No. I have the Samsung Note. It is a POS. And this is coming from a guy that was one of its biggest fans pre-launch... I was 2 months in before I let myself see the phone for what it truly is.

If the screen is bigger, one handed operation will simply not be possible. I am a big guy, with huge hands, and even I am not able to reach the upper left hand potion of the keyboard when I am holding it with my right hand... a huge annoyance as "a" is a rather important letter.

BUT! I could excuse that if it wasn't SO LAGGGYYYY and I am sure the quad core processor will help in the regard, but I already have a 5000mah extended battery just to get through the day (and it looks ridiculous) I think that a quad core processor + LTE + 5.5" screen will literally deplete the stock battery in 4 hours of use...

I learned my lesson, going back to iOS next month when the new iPhone comes out.
