So much news passes before our collective eyes every day that we couldn’t possibly cover it all. Mostly because much of it isn’t worth covering! But here are a some borderline tidbits we passed on, just in case.

IRS Is Now Regulating PayPal Sales

If you’re a PayPal power user—the type that either moves $20,000 through the payment system in a year or participates in 200 payments—you’re going to have to provide a tax ID number (or, more likely, social security number) so the IRS can keep better tabs. Basically, successful Etsy store owners will no longer be able to launder money through their hand-crafted buttons-that-look-like-states. [The Next Web]
