James Gunn has shared his final storyboard (presumably not the final shot of the film, though) to social media:
David Ayer says there’s more to the Joker’s tattoos than just visual flair:
The tattoos tell a very specific story... and eventually people will decipher them and understand what’s going on, but obviously they’re contentious, any time you do something new it’s contentious. There’s very specific stories and easter eggs in those tattoos. And even his teeth, there’s an entire story behind that which is absolutely canon. It’s putting his history on his body. This Joker is a little more working class, who I believe could live in our world.
Ross Evans has been drafted to write the script for a new time travel movie for Sony, based on the 2011 fictional instructional manual written by Kirstie Shepherd for a 1950s time travel machine called the Gadabout TM-1050. [Variety]
Fox has released a new behind-the-scenes image from the film.
Dr. Okun does some unorthodox experimentation in a new clip.
Here’s a brief new preview for the film.
Deadline reports that Nick Zano has joined as Dr. Nate Heywood. In the comics, Heywood was grandson of Justice Society of America hero Commander Steel, and eventually becomes the hero (and occasional Justice League member) Citizen Steel.
The report states that Zano will be specifically be playing Heywood the doctor, but given the nature of the show, there’s a good chance he’ll end up playing Citizen Steel at some point too.
Rick Gonzalez has been cast as a new vigilante joining Team Arrow, DC Comics character Wild Dog. In the show, Wild Dog will be a hero with a “reckless and cocksure nature” that prompts Oliver to take him under his wing. [EW]
Orlando Jones and Demore Barnes have joined the cast. Jones will play Mr. Nancy, an African trickster god and close confidante of Mr. Wednesday, while Barnes plays Mr. Ibis, a keeper of tales that “recounts them with great relish.” [KSite TV]
Robin Lord Taylor teases what’s in store for the Penguin in the next season:
Oswald will try to be the most powerful man he can be. He learned so much in Season 2. Now he has the means and knowledge, he knows what it is to be the king of Gotham and how difficult it is. On the death of his mother, Nygma told him, ‘You’re free to do whatever you want now. To love someone is to be weak, vulnerable.’ Now he can be as ruthless as he wants. I think he will take that advice.
Finally, new pictures from “Battle of the Bastards” have been released. More at the link. [Coming Soon]
