Everything and everyone seems to be pointing to September as the month the iPhone 5 will begin shipping, with today’s latest confirmation coming from three of Reuters’ sources “with direct knowledge of the company’s supply chain.”
According to said sources, the factories will begin churning iPhone 5 parts out in July at the earliest, with little changes needed between the fifth-gen phone and the iPhone 4. One of the sources said it would have a faster processor—an A5, to match the iPad 2?—though no-one mentioned the 8MP camera the iPhone 5 is expected to have. [Reuters]
