LEGO Quietly Offloads the Clone Wars Gunship at an All-Time Low on Amazon, Not a Cent Off on the Official Site

Amazon just quietly dropped the Clone Wars Gunship to its lowest price ever.

LEGO Star Wars sets don’t go on sale often, and when they do, it’s never on the official LEGO site. Prime Day is one of the rare exceptions, and the Coruscant Guard Gunship is making the most of it. Amazon has dropped it to $97, down from its $139 list price, which matches the all-time low last seen at Black Friday and is the lowest this 1,083-piece set has ever been. This deal is locked behind a Prime membership, and the 30-day trial has no card attached.

Five minifigures and a gunship worth displaying

The Coruscant Guard Gunship comes with five minifigures: Chancellor Palpatine, Commander Fox with two blaster pistols, two Coruscant Guards each with blasters, and Padmé Amidala with a blaster pistol. That’s a lineup that covers some of the most recognizable characters from Star Wars: The Clone Wars in a single set, and Commander Fox in particular is a minifigure that doesn’t show up in many LEGO releases, which makes this set more interesting to collectors than the piece count alone suggests.

The gunship itself is built around playability and display value in equal measure. Two pilot cockpits open for minifigure placement, two stud shooters and two adjustable cannons handle the aerial battle scenarios, and a rear hatch pulls down while the side slides open to access the cabin interior for troopers and equipment. A built-in handle makes swooshing it around during play practical without the set feeling fragile. Fully assembled it measures over 5.5 inches high, 14.5 inches long, and 16 inches wide, which is substantial enough to anchor a shelf display without taking over the entire room.

The build itself runs 1,083 pieces, which puts it in the range where the construction process is genuinely engaging for the target age of 9 and up without becoming frustrating. The LEGO Builder app supports the build with 3D zoom and rotation so you can visualize the finished model from any angle while you’re working through the instructions, which is useful for a set with this level of structural complexity.

The official LEGO site has never touched this price

LEGO does not discount its own products. The Coruscant Guard Gunship sits at $139 on the official LEGO site today and has never moved from that number. Deep discounts on Star Wars sets are rare even at major retail events, and an all-time low that matches Black Friday pricing is not something that shows up on a predictable schedule. The last time this set was at $97 was Black Friday last year, and it took another Prime Day deal to get back there.

For Clone Wars collectors specifically, the combination of Chancellor Palpatine, Commander Fox, and Padmé Amidala in a single set at this price is the kind of alignment that makes the purchase decision straightforward. The set works equally well as a gift for a Star Wars fan who builds and plays, or for a collector who will put it together once and display it.

At $97 for a 1,083-piece Star Wars set with five minifigures including Commander Fox, this is the lowest the Coruscant Guard Gunship has ever been sold for anywhere. LEGO Star Wars deals at this level don’t linger, and this one requires Prime to access, so the window is narrower than it looks.
