The Volkswagen Camper Van was originally made in 1962. I wish VW were still making them, because I'd buy one. Instead, I'd have to get this awesome Lego set instead. Watch the video tour to see all the great detail inside.

It includes features such as the 'V' shape three-way colour split at the front, rounded roof and window frames, opening 'splittie' safari front window, opening doors, and of course, the instantly recognisable pop-up roof.

It's a really beautiful exclusive set. 1,322 pieces for $100. I'm getting it. [LEGO via Brothers Brick]

Saw this on fbtb's Flickr page and I was seriously tempted, but I'm going to stick hard to my principle of only getting minifig-scale sets, but dammit......as a collector of scale model cars, this leaves me conflicted.
