We only know what we can see, and that's 3D - on a 2D screen in no way intended to view 3D. LG just demoed their prototype 42-inch HD LCD with switchable 2D/3D viewing at IMID (the annual display party that is turning out to be pretty cool this year). That's all we know. Are these pictures meant to be 3D? Uhhh...probably. And we're sure that the prototype is incredible in person. We assume: it takes normal video and adds depth. We know: this will hit as soon as 1080p is standardized and in every home.
