Reader Abe was digging around the sidekick.com site, the same site T-Mobile used to launch the T-Mobile Sidekick 3, and found some hidden easter eggs. After finding all five eggs, the site displayed a message to come back on August 11th for “hidden treats”. Since August 11th came and went without any announcements, Abe emailed the company that designed the site for T-Mobile to ask them whether there were any updates coming soon. Their response: check back in a few weeks for some nice Limited Edition stuff.
Now if this is true, it would mesh very nicely with the Sidekick Timeline we posted about almost a year ago, noting that there’s a Sidekick III Limited edition due Oct. 6th for $399. We don’t know if that’s the right price, but that date seems to be on target.
